Surrey Women’s Aid (SWA) was established in 1976 to empower and meet the emotional and practical needs of people affected by domestic abuse.   Our services include:

 

Emergency Helpline:  Our 24/7 Helpline offers confidential support, information and access to services including emergency accommodation. For immediate assistance, ring the Helpline on 01483 776822.

 

Refuge On any day in the UK there are 7,000 women and children fleeing domestic abuse.  SWA offers safe accommodation for women and families in the same situation. 

 

Outreach:    We offer one-to-one emotional and practical support to people who have left or are still in abusive relationships, including advice and information on personal safety and security, housing and finances, benefits and immigration, legal information, mental health and child safety.
